My new dresses are out right now! They're called the Dolce Vita Mini! They're really cute and very mini. Mini meaning, a little on the risky short side. I'm into minis/micros as long as you keep your legs closed and are wearing boy shorts underneath you're not a ho! I'm digging this dress a lot because of the back. I made a sort of V cut on the back of the dress. Added two gold zippers on the two parts! It's very chic/posh still but still glamorous! :D Very simple casual but at the same time you can dress it up into formal! Add a belt, some cute rocker booties! You're set! Thanks to Kitten and Garbage for being my models <3

New Headwarmers, Turtleneck Sweater Dresses and Socks!

It's fall time and everyone is starting to make all the goodies for winter. Winter prep! I like to call it. Even though I usually don't make anything for winter, I made some stuff! I'm starting to really like doing patterns and such and with the help of friends and encouraging comments and suggestions from my customers; I keep on going. I made a three things and I tried to finish this other dress I'm making but I'd rather take my time.

For the Bachan Knits Headwraps, is really true. My Bachan (Grandma Japanese) makes me every year mitts, a hat and this year she's make me this! it's like a headband but really thick. It's gunna look bad ass when it's done, but as my bachan says, adorable. It's just a knitted headband/headwrap to cover your years. I made tons of colours, to the point where I had to use wikis colour list because I ran out of names.

Thank you to everyone that came out to support my sale! & My birthday party! I really appreciate that and thank you from the bottom of my heart. You all are wonderful people and I do cherish you all. I'm not a big designer, nor am I into myself, like "I OWN KENZIE AND CO! IM PROFESSIONAL!" That's just greedy and I'm not like that. I'm very friendly and enjoy other peoples company. Hence why I play this game. I have a whole world of meeting new people. I loved meeting my customers and getting to know them. I liked hearing what they liked and disliked about my clothing, store and layout. Not only did I enjoy my customers company; I had fun with them! As we all know for my constant blogging tonight I'm having my kick off sale party/Second Life Birthday Party. If you're bored and it is a Friday night come on down to my mainstore location! Tonight I start my 50% off sale.

I'm not doing the sale for charity, I'm not doing it to raise money for a good cause, and I'm not doing some big fancy event. IM DOING IT FOR MY BIRTHDAY!! YAY! I'm going to be 22 and I was going to have a sale to clean out my store. I put the two and two together and what did I come up with; 50% off Birthday Sale!! J'Yeah!

Hey guys! So my birthday is coming up next week. I'm gonna be pretty busy next week so I don't really have time to party on sl. I want to do a birthday bash for myself because I'm in the mood to party. I thought well why not invite the whole second life world? Seeing how we all love music, chatting and shopping! The whole store will be set 50% off. I'm also going to cleaning out the store. Some of the stuff may be transferred into the discount store or deleted after the sale.

For all those who don't know me. I am Canadian. November 11th is Remembrance day. Seeing how we still have a war going on and it's my generations time to fight, I've lost of few friends or people that were husbands, fiancees, sons, daughters, etc. My good friend Meghan lost her boyfriend/fiancee two years ago in a bomb accident. It's really scary that now, my age, people are going off to war and fighting the governments battles. Though, I must admit without war we wouldn't have our freedom, luxury living and human rights. At the same time, blood should not be split for greed, land claims, and power. I believe in the good of war, but I wish violence did not have to exist with it. A war of debate! who ever has the better debate wins land! wee. Only in my head would I think like that. Anyways, I love to remember those who have given their life for my own. Those who have fought their way into battle and gave their lives for my daughter and I. I will always support the troops, give respect and remember those who have fallen. They may have went into battle alone, but they will never be forgotten in my heart. Any vets out there and fellow troops who may be reading this, if you know a vet or solider, give them a hug! Thank you! Thank you for fighting for us, for those who couldn't and for our rights <3>

Insight Grungy Tunics Sweaters

I love this sweater. I found it on UO. I loved the fabric, the style and the look. It reminded me of acid wash and I love acid wash right now. Anything 80's-90's rocker I love. I tried to recreate a shawl, scoopy, dangling neckline and a hoodie in the back. It came out really great. Took me a while but it did. I don't make my own sculpts; the ones I'm using we're tricky to map. I did it though, I got the textures on it perfectly. Its a draped neck hoodie! I made the sleeves sculpted too. A ribbing effect was added to the bottom and sleeves of the shirt. It comes in 5 colours. Rosey, Blue, Purple, Black and Tan. You can wear them with tights, leggings, leather, jeans, skirts! It looks great with anything because, duh it's a sweater! Hope you like it. Cheers!

You know you already love it by the name of this title. I know I sure do! I love the way my denim ripped jeans turned out. They're pretty awesome and bad ass. I'm really into the heavy duty ripped look effect. I'm also into the rocker/trashy look. I added the 80's style rips on the back of the bum below the pockets in a tribute to Nikki Sixxx <3 These jeans are pretty much self explanatory. I made them in a regular classic wash, black, grey, light blue, darker blue and dingy dirty blue.

Anyways there's tons of washes and they're only 125L each. I will be adding a fat pack in the future, just swamped with irl stuff. Please enjoy!

Seeing how I have such a great support system (customers). I wanted to give back to the wonderful people who constantly give me the little pick me ups I need from day to day. I know it's just a game and that my clothes are just clothes. I love logging on to hear the sound of money being dropped onto my account. Not because I am making money (Kind of) but because people like my clothes. I put out a freebie chair a couple weeks ago and my store was flooded by people waiting for a prize. Last night I set-up two more boards because I felt the need to share more! I hated seeing them wait so long. I know myself when I'm bored and I sit around waiting for freebies it can take up a lot of time and when you're waiting... time goes by much slower. Sending out a massive notice! Its amazing!!! I have made all the tights I could possibly do in the matter of a day and a half. So you see. There are three different style. All of which are on my wishlist. Hence why I made them in secondlife. There's the plain back sided "Two Faced" leggings which are black in the front and coloured on the back side. Double sided, coloured back, black in front... two... face, get it? I made tons of colours for each pack of tights. Two Faced leggings is selling only for 70L.

The next set of leggings I made where the Striped Two Faced Leggings. Which only comes in three different tones because I wanted to keep it pretty natural. It comes in White and Black striped, a nice tan colour and black and black and a very dark grey. The lines go sheer - solid so you get the effect. They're pretty bad ass. I hope you like them. They're for 100 each.

My all time favorite leggings that I am dying to have IRL are the Afrika leggings. They have a tribal theme print all over the leggings. It gives leggings a whole new meaning, besides keeping your legs warm while looking incredibly long and form-fitting, it's like a story on tights. *Giggles* Or so I see it as. Anyways I just love love them. I made tons of colours requested by friends. I was going to keep it to a min of four or five colours. There are 115L Each. I hope you enjoy them and cant wait to buy them. I know I'm sick of making stuff for today so GOOD DAY!

New TEESHIRTS!!! Gezzz Kenzie, you're like a mean machine!

You're damn straight! I've been working really hard this past week. Mainly because I want to get a few extra things that have been broken (not by me, my boyfriend). Right now I'm trying to get myself a new Nikon D90 because he broke my D60 on our trip. It sucks not being able to capture pictures of my baby, unless I have my iPhone which is all pixelated and distorted at night. It sucks big time so this is what I'm doing to buy the beautiful D90. Yea, so Second Life is basically becoming my job, stay at home mother/wanna be clothing designer in a virtual world. Sounds pretty sweet right? Not as sweet as these new tee shirts I made. I've been lacking the new graphics tee's in my store for a while. I decided now is the time seeing how I've updated my Freebie Chair. I will continue to do so at the end of the week. I'll be adding one item from each release I've made. :D Awesome right? I love to give back. I hate making clothes and the way how certain stores/designers take advantage of Second Life. It use to so much fun to make clothes and have a wonderful store. Now it's filled with competition, copybots and openGL. I personally don't like to take advantage of my store. I find it to such a great hobby and a wonderful joy to be able to make clothes, hearing the cha ching sound as someone buys something and feeling good about what I've done. Someone actually bought something! Someone actually likes my stuff! It makes me feel talented <3 So I want to give back to those who have been so kind these past few years to me! Freebies! lol

My new releases are pretty simple. They're just graphic tee's that I've been wanting irl. I decided seeing how I'm on a budget I might as well make them in the game! Wewt. I made them for your enjoyment! Let's get back to jeans and tee's. Hoodies and high waisted skirts. Hi-tops and knee stockings. What's with all this uber chic, couture looking clothes! I mean it's beautiful but it's becoming overrated! (Keep up the good work though, the people who supply us the beautiful high-fashion clothing are seriously talented. I'm not dissing that factor of their clothes). I'm just a sucker for plain white tee's and some cool stretchy skinny jeans! CONVERSE FOR THE WIN!

Good Afternoon!
Today I made two things this past week and a half. I made some tights and a sweater dress. They’re called “Where the Wild Things Are” Tights and “Terry Tunic Sweater Dress”. Both items I was inspired to draw off of my favourite clothing site. I’m sure you’re all aware which that is. If not I’m not telling. A girl never kisses and tells, sillies. Anyways it took a while because my tablet broke and then I was swamped with a lot of real life events, drama and a baby. I’m happy though to say that I’ve made some and I like what I have made! I hope you all like it too. I know the move “Where the wild things are” is huge right now and I loved the trailer, can’t wait to see it. I have to admit I’ve forgotten the story book. Hey there. I'm currently moving but I'm back and up and running. I'm very sorry for taking such a long vacation. I enjoyed my time with my family and got use to being more active irl. Once we came home I was very busy with washing clothes, putting things away and catching up with bill collectors and family who missed us (oddly we were gone for two weeks and they acted like we left for a year or something). Now I'm back and the person I share land with my store has a problem again and we must move. That's what I've been working on the big move. The main store is still up, but will be closed down soon. I think. It's all up to my momma. Also I changed the look inside and hopefully when I get enough money to buy a new tablet (boyfriend broke my old one) I can start making clothes again. Still on Vacation

Hey there!
This post goes out to anyone who has been trying to get a hold of me. I am still currently on vacation visiting my dad out in British Columbia (It's a Canadian province for you Americans who dont know what/where B.C is, lawlz) I'm having a great time and did tons of shopping in Vancouver. I was a tad disappointed in Urban Outfitters, all of the good stuff was online so my four day drive was pointless. I was so excited to see and be in the store. Once I was inside Urban I couldn't find a damn thing that I liked or really was in awe. Mainly the store I was in looked like a zoo and all of the clothes where mixed up. The shoes we're even spectacular and I love LOVE Urbans selections on shoes. Not to mention there was some sort of a sale going on, but I didnt find anything that I liked or saw on the site. :( Major frown for me. I went crazy in American Appearal spent around 300 bucks on only four things which still pisses me off but it was money spent in a great store. Good qualtiy (so they say) and not made in sweat shops. Yes, it's true I got a love of spandex outfits andone-pieces. Other than that my trip is awesome. I love the moutains and enjoying the sites. So please leave a notecard that is the best way to let me help you with any questions or requests. Also my laptop is shit because of my boyfriend. HE RUINED MY BEAUTIFUL MAC!!!! :(

New Coloured Denims

Everyone sent me request for coloured denim jeans. I finally made them. I've been pissed off at myself for messing up my layers on the psd file that i stopped playing for a while. See the smallest things set me off when it comes to making clothes. I made them in eight different colours, like the rainbow itself. Red, pink, orange, yellow, green. soft green, soft blue and purple! The darks and lights are in the regular jean washes. I have them set up at all of my locations.. The jeans are low in the front but still cover your bottom crack in the back. No one likes a plumbers crack unless you like to spit down it. They have sculpted cuffs at the bottom of the jeans to give it that skinny jean flare!

New Jeans and Crop tube tops!

Good day my beautiful readers!

I just wanted to say THANK YOU! To everyone who has supported my designs and store. I really really truly appreciate it. I just wanted to let you all know how much that means to me. It’s great to know that you guys really like my designs and the little IM’s that you guys send me just make my day. I really doubt my ability to make clothes and to be honest I do it for fun and my shopping habits on sl. I love making clothes and I owe it to you because if you didn’t support me and send my little IM’s full of compliments and pick me ups! I would not continue to even release anything.

I’ve been working on jeans this past week. I’ll be selling them pretty steep. I usually hate selling things over 275... I never sell clothes that much. I put a lot of effort into these jeans. I KNOW NOTHING ABOUT PATTERN OVERLAY! So, when I was making the denim texture I was so worried about the wrinkles and highlights. I didn’t think the jeans would come out as well as they did. I released them to friends for a bit to get their suggestions, comments and advice. I want to give a big thank you to them for helping me out with my flaws! If it wasn’t for them there would be tons of mismatched seams and faded looking textures. I tried my best on making different washes. They come with sculpted prim flares at the bottom, they’re skinny jeans but they taper about a bit at the bottom. I tried to go for the really ruffled (scrunched) bottom. They will be selling for 300L a piece. I hope you like them! I hand drew them so I'm really proud of them -snickers-

I also made tube tops cropped style! I made them because of Thimbles and Surf co’s tank tops. I wear those irl with the style of tube tops I made. I wear bright bright colours underneath and prints. I’ll be working on prints for the tube tops later this week. I give you all layer options! So you can even wear it over your tank tops it you want! Hehe. I love them, because they’re not to skanky, they’re flirty. They’re selling for 100L a piece!

So once upon there was a girl. She was kind and loving and always tried to help others. This girl met a boy who was very clever. Not only was he clever he was cute. The girl befriend the boy and everything was peaches and cream. One day the boy showed her something on threadless that he apparently created. That boy seemed to be very artistic and creative. The girl thought SWELL! He's so awesome! The girl did the most stupidest thing she could possibly do. She gave the boy a full perm template of her tee shirts. Then things happened between her and the boy. Her land was stolen by a wicked witch and she had to move. The boy and herself had a store and a home, she also gave the boy money because he didn't have money to spend like the wealthy girl. Once she moved and she couldn't have the same amount as prims like on her old land. The boy was left with out a store. Rumors had it that the boy had used her and the girls fairy god mothers tried to tell her "Stay away, dear girl. The boy only wants your wealth and templates." The girl didn't believe them and ended up excluding her godmothers from her circle. Then once the boys store was gone, no income for him. Then once the girl stopped giving him money due to the rumors, the boy stopped coming around. The boy stopped talk to the girl. That girl was broken, crushed and felt so stupid. Not only was she used, she was lied too, cheated and left alone in her own guilt. She should have known, stupid girl. The godmothers tried their best to warn her but she wouldn't not have it! Yes sir I sure have. As I wrote before I've had a lot of things happen irl. With a death in the family (on my sisters boyfriends side), a break up and being a full-time mommy. I've really been trying to keep myself busy with anything I can do or make because I don't want to think about real life right now. Unless it has to do with something with my daughter, I'll be ecstatic to do it. She's so funny and she's getting so big too quickly. She's not walking yet, but she is trying to so hard. She just keeps falling and scaring herself from further bravery to try again!
Her dad took her for three days and I've had a lot of time on my hands.

I first off made the crop tops to get back into my mode of making clothes. That's how I always start off when I'm making clothes, something small. I either make tee-shirts or something really simple. Then I work my way up the ladder. I tried my best trying to use prims to create a baggy belly top style shirt because I'm really into those right now. I failed, I tried with sculpties, regular old fashion way prims and then flexy. I failed at all attempts to make it look right. It just didn't so I settled with a plain tee-shirt style and made an under shadow underneath the shirt base bottom line. I hope you like it. In the end I didn't really like how it looked because it wasn't really "Baggy" I guess you just have to pretend.

I also made a baby doll/long tunic tee dress. It's a Rugby style little outfit. You can dress it up with anything. If you wanna go chic/Boho, I recommend big clunky boots or baggy biker style boots, with some sort of nylons/stockings and a scarf. If you want to go the other way, preppy/upper class add some nice jeans or shorts, baby doll flats or flip flops! I enjoyed making this dress/shirt because it was simple and fun. I bought tons of sculpties to help me with dress/shirt making! So that was another thing that made this dress fun to make.

The next number I made is JE'ADORE ( I know I spelt it wrong. I swore in french class you could spell it like this, but I also remember failing french twice to get high in the park :()
I wanted to do lace because I love lace and silk irl. You have to wear one or the other in the mist of seducing a young lad. It took a while because I can't draw lace at all so I used brushes, I had to google and google. I hate searching for things because I never find the good stuff. Anyways it turned out pretty well. I must say I love the panties more than the top. Just the way how the lace creeps up over the top of the undies line. It comes only in pastel tons for summer loving.

These are the two things that I have made. So some news about KENZIE&CO. I've started a new fall line. Here's the two things I've made. Won't be released until I've finished everything else. A couple more dresses and tops. I'm trying to teach myself to make some hand drawn denim and tweed pants, tricky so I'm not ready for bottoms yet.

The reason I've been slow is a lot of drama IRL. My babydaddy is gone and I'm finding it harder and harder to find time on the computer. Which I don't mind at all, more time with Hayden. The thing is now that he's gone finding work is going to be tricky here in my shit town. Hayden's only 13 months now and they wont take her till she's 18 months. I got her on little mommy computer time routine. I've been working like crazy and less shopping in SL. It's my job now :( I hate to say that but for now until I can get her into daycare, this is it. So please everyone, bare with me in SL if I don't respond quickly or I am not online to answer. Best to send note cards with trans number. So Kimberly has been hiding this secret talent for making some really good hair for years. She's always been great with prims but with hair... meh, the textures defeated her. With some help of friends and my swift kick to her bottom she has been making hair. It's really cute of her actually cause she's very self-conscious about her work even though when she was online 24-7 back in the day she was the leading prim shoe maker in all of sl. I loved her last hair style Paige but this one I love more! The pony is sleek and long. The bangs in the front pull to the side but still has the cute wispy strands on both sides of the face. It really is a beautiful piece <3 I love this style and the sculpted head band completes her look.

Surf co's tank is amazing. I love how it draps down on the sides leaving a bit to the imagination. A long time ago Karamia released this wicked sailor shorts. That's what I'm wearing underneath my seductive darling tank top. I love Kara's detailed textures and work on her clothing. She's amazing, she was once a big popular designer in IMVU. She took her talents and came on over to "Second Life" I love and miss her, so today to show off my affection to her I'm wearing her shorts. Reminding people to go and see her store so she'll see all those notices and come back online :D

For many many years I have played this game. I have seen the most beautiful designers start so small and work their way up into the big leagues. Such as, Aimme Weber (Midnight City to contract work) Barnesworth Anubis (Wonderful Prefab Creator) Camie Cooper (Its all Good) etc. I have been creating content since I was 17 years old. I have been around since alpha hair was the only thing we could wear. Never in my whole second life time have I ever felt so cheated, scammed and stupid for buying something. The reason I am writing this is because I feel people should know. I for one am usually pretty picky when it comes to buying something over 5K. I think if someone is going to spend that kind of money they should expect in return good quality products. My clothing isn't the best, do I over price them? No. I keep them in my range. What I'm good at, what I think people should pay for it! I spend hours, days on my items and I still dont go over 300L. Why? Because I feel that's unnessacry. Second Life creating content is fun for me. It's also a business. I enjoy it but I also work hard at what I do, I put effort.
I purchased a skybox today for 7500L as I plurked this early afternoon. My friend and I did sit around and look at the home. I guess it was my windlight or something but I didn’t catch the flaws that I saw when I first saw the demo. It's not that I didn't like it once I got home. It's that... For 7500L I expect, seamless, even if it looks like you can’t get the textures correctly aligned it should look as though you tried. FAILED. The prim walls were sticking out, windows weren’t even placed correctly, the bars around the upper floor lever were totally off and not properly connected and there were trees sticking into the blacony wall. It was as if Danny Bourne bought textures on Xstreet and made a home. Decided "Ill sell them for 7500L BE SUPER RICH!" Its like he went in there half assed the build and didn't think (or use common sense) "Hmm this wall flickers but I'll still sell it". Once I got home, unboxed the damn thing, I could see everything!!! Everything.. The flickering walls, the bad lining the horrible textures. I wanted to cry. I've paid 2k for well designed homes, 6k for fully furnished homes from Abyss! And let me tell you I've never complained! Just the fact that this home was built backwards wasn't even the biggest problem. The demo home shoes rain outside, rain trickling down the windows, sound effects, furniture and even a damn sauna! None of those "extras" were included even though...

MOODY SHOES! OH GOD! Every one has been raving about Lelutka. You know what I have been waiting for? YOU KNOW WHAT I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR?!?! Moody. Stiletto Moody shoes have finally released their beautiful sculpted stilettos and my my aren't they just DIVINE! From the textures to the beautifully sculpted peices that feet so well into the shoes. The one I am wearing is called Lauren. There were tons of colours to choose from but I'm usually a black or nude girl. With these soft, ballerina looking heels I decided to go with the soft pink, baby pink, angelic pink colour. It litterally made me feel so good when I bought them. It's like when Carrie Bradshaw walked in to Manolo Blahnik and paid 400 bucks for her shoes. Ahh I completly understand that shoes bring to a person, both IRL and SL. I love love these shoes.
I paid around 2199 for them I recall. My mind fuzzy. But I didn't care for the price. I knew all week to save 8k at least for the damn new ones. I spent all of that 8k. Today at midnight her 40% off sale will be over on all the older models. it's worth it though. Her shoes are wonderfuly made and beautiful! I have to say the one flaw i hate about her shoes is the skin textures and the prim ankles. It's so hard for me to mod because of my ADD (The only way to discribe my short attention span) I give up after ten mins of trying to make it completly right for my avatar.

Hey guys!! Kim has moved into my land. Her store is called KCD, if you dont remember it. Kimberly was pretty much a leading lady in SL back in 2004, she had her own mall/plaza and her own store that was very well known for it's prim shoes and jewlery for your avatar. Kimberly than took a short (is a bit to small of a word but that's what she says) almost a year ago. She has now returned to continue her love for making shoes and accessories. Kimberly is also working on some prim sculpted her that I bogged two days ago! Something new! Baggy sculpted tee's and Highwaisted skirt?!?! ZOMG

I do recall blogging awhile back about how much I am in love with highwaisted skirts. There is a certain kind that I have been dying for. Ever since I saw Lady Gaga in that PVC Skirt I said to myself "That actually looks really yummy and ****ing sexy!" I immediatly went on the hunt. All I could think about was PVC, not leather, not pleather, not vinyl! PVC!! I needed them, I craved them. All my searched came to a hault when I couldn't find one exactly like Lady Gaga's skirt. Then I found some cheap kind at our skanky store for ten bucks. All of the small sizes were gone and I was SOL. Yes. I almost cried. I begged and begged to know when the next shipment was coming in. They said their "Stripper" store was closing next week. :'( I was so close... SO CLOSE.

Anyways, I made a pair for myself in secondlife. Not so long, but the trendy short style. The bang around the waist is high, close enough to touch your boobs. I tried my best with the latex looking texture! I hope you guys like it! 125L !!

The baggy tee shirts we'ren't suppose to like this at all. I was going for really baggy or something more baggy than what I made. Then when my sculpts failed my vision I came out with this. Which I am happy with and I hope you all approve! They look like sculpted tee shirts! but they're more baggier than my other tee's so I called them baggy!! Hehe, they come in TONS of colours. Red, Blue, Yellow, Green, Pink, Purple, Charcol, and White (Tintable). Have fun picking your favorite colour <3

Then there are the graphic tee's. I love the rollingstones tounge tee-shirt. I love what John and yoko wore back in the day. I love that oldschool 7-'s80's style tee shirts from Dazed and Confused! My friend Kimberly made this hair. Check out her picks for a teleport. She's a wicked prim maker. She makes shoes, hair and accessories. She's been away from SL for almost a year, but she is back is learning all of the stuff that she missed out. I must recommend you all to check out her store. Kim has just released this hair called Paige and isn't it adorable!? I think so.

I am sure we all know what prop8 is. I'm sure you all know that the NOH8 ad's that have been circulating SL and the feeds for the past couple days. Here's my pictures on it. Here's my statement on it. I think of the way how gays are treated is so inhuman and politically incorrect. I think that if the situation was reverse and someone had told me I couldn't like a man because it was not "Normal" I would betray the Church, my families wishes and my own faith to my morals because it is normal for me to like a man. It bothers me to hear such disgusting comments from others saying how it's not the way of Jesus or it's not the way to live. It's unhealthy, it's the way of Satan, you'll get AIDS, etc. I think that in this world today, the year 2009; If we wish to sleep with a man or woman it should be excepted. If we want to marry someone who is the same sex of the bride/groom, it should be excepted. If someone told me it wasn't normal for me to be with a man I would be outrage, just because it's not normal for you, doesn't mean it's normal for me to be with a woman. I think about it like that. How disgusting it is for me to be with a woman, because I am not attracted to a woman. If you are then that's your way of life. Mine is peen. If you like to be with your same sex, that's fine. If could made us all uniform and all alike then what kind of beauty is that? God made us all individually unique for the sole purpose to be one of a kind. People who hate against race, same sex relationships or orientation and are stereotypical disgust me. They are the ones who will go to hiatus. While us who live by the good book and love one another, live in peace and harmony, do not test each other will be living in peace and serenity. Anyways I'll shut up about that because that's MY opinion. I'm not preaching or asking you to follow my belief. That's how I see the situation. The red blindfold is that I see no colour, no genders, and no stereotypes. Everyone has their story, everyone is different and everyone is beautiful. I believe in passion, love, and to think through your heart.

So Kimberly Casanova as I mentioned has came back to second life. We've been talking about starting a blog together. It's kind of all in the air untill we figure out a good name and Kim starts making some more cash so we can actually buy new stuff for her. She's s 2005. We need a good name that relates to fashion but oldschool clothing (vintage) and new fashions (current trends) We don't like to stick with the latest.. we like to go back in the day and look for the goods. Today is another release! "Everlasting" Dresses are now out at my homestore. I'm a little busy at the moment but I did have some time to set them up at my store. The dresses are for on sale for 150L, like the last dresses comes with two versions. One skirt flexy and the other sculpted. The shirt is a tube top plain cotton style fabric. The skirt is a foral pattern that I drew and with a smooth polyester type of deal trim. So as I've been blogging about all the freebies at La Mode! I had to blog this jacket and only this jacket. Garbage made this a while back but I thought for some reason Cherry made it. I was wrong and now it's in my inventory! I am so happy that it is because I love this jacket and pants outfit. Though I'm only blogging the jacket because the style of it is those kind of blazers that you don't need to wear pants. Let's be a Lady Gaga for a moment and strike a pose. Hmm?? I concur. Now that La Mode is now up at Starlust... I've been pretty free. My hands are not currently stitching threads together in secondlife and my baby daddy is taking very good care of my pumpkins. So what is a girl to do? Shop! That's what I do. La mode had a wonderful variety of freebies from very talented designers. I myself had tons of compliments made from my freebie box and I have to say thank you! To all of you who came out and welcome Starlust A la Mode with big open arms. I also want to thank many of you who IM'd me and blogged my current release "Don't Rain on my Parade" It's people like you that keep me wanting to fluster myself with adobe and my silly wacom tablet. <3 Thanks!

I enjoyed the opening aswell. Sayuri of Sugarcube is the most wonderful and sweetest designer I have ever met in second life. She released a two new items only for the opening of La Mode! Isn't that nice. An exculsive freebie! I bought them both, thus me wearing the one I bought. Denim Dress! Denim is going to be the newest high fashion thing, I swear. Right now we're in the 80's mix, what next 90's? The 90's were Kurt Cobain and Denim correct? That's what I remember. Plaid this, overralls and Denim jackets and pants. Also I remember buying a pleather outfit from gap in grade 7. I thought I was the bomb diggity until the kids made fun of me. :S It wasn't the best Idea I remember now. I did wear the jacket for many years. So... at least that 200 dollar outfit got some wear. LAWLZ. Anyways, I love this dress. She's amazing when it comes to movement with her dresses in the sculpty depratment. The skirt alone looks like it's poof'd out and the wind is gently pushing it. It makes me feel really girly but also chic and sexy. I wanted to go the sexy route because (I'm a whore, Kidding) I wanted to not look so kiddish. I went with Armidi's Dhali Bow Platforms in white! The straps on them are amazing. I love how they look so real and comfy at the same time. I have a pair of wedges and I can't wait to wear them. Right now the sun is blistering how to wear them out. I would ruin the leather with my sweat. I added this wonderful bag from creamshop. The textures on it are to die for. The weaving of the bag is so detailed and precise. It reminded me of my old beach bag she used. My mom is from trinidad and that's where her bag is also from. I have it and I wear it every summer. Though it's got green it but this bag is pretty close. That's why I bought it. My hair is from Shag which I got at the hair fair. I love Shag, where the hell did she come from?! or he. All I know is this designers hair work is divine. The way she weaved the braid and used her sculpts around the hair to make it releastic but not so... what's the word prim looking due to sculpties is great! I shall continue to look for her new releases <3 And that's it. I could have dressed my self up more with sunglasses or bangles or maybe even a necklace but I thought my bag and dress was eye poping enough <3

La mode!
Appearance mode has entered the world of starlust. Thus taking a new name for itself. Starlust 'A La Mode! La mode, how clever and ultra chic. It reminds me of the old Paris movies I use to see as a little girl -lies- while a eat the best tasting grapes ever from this fancy winery! Anyways. It's amazing! Garbage did a great deal on the build and as far as I know Kenzo and Kailiana did a wicked job on the beach. If your much like me and adore the upscale style of Rodeo Drive you will enjoy this shopping district.

The stores include some of my favorites Kenzie&Co(Mine), Karamia, Heartattack & Vine, Random Fashions, Sugarcube,*12/4*, Cherry (House of London), Yourskin&Yourshape, Decoy. Mocorin and Ty Zvezda.
There is so many shops here I cant handle it. The builds are wonderful and the atmoshpere is very calm and welcoming. I enjoy being here even when I'm not shopping/setting up my store. It's a very peaceful scenery.

I am mostly happy about the opening of La mode is that my friends will be back and creating their beautiful clothing/skins/shoes/hair and etc. They're such wonderful friends I have and I love them! I am happy to welcome them back and kick them in their tush to start making some clothes again.

The sim should open around 6pm SLT tonight. I hope that everyone will make it with their debt cards ready to be maxed out, because starlust always has the most unique and interesting stores to shop at. If you're sick of all the major labels out there in sl. Starlust la mode is where you should come then.

Okay so like I said yesterday I have released the new dresses today. They are called "Don't Rain on My Parade" They come in two different coloured versions. Three are just the colours recoloured. The other set is the whole dress recoloured. Both of the three dress are coloured by Blue, purple and Red. Those are the only three colours I thought were colour worthy. They all seemed to be over saturated or just an awful looking colour. I love making colours though because you never know what people want. The dresses are 250L each. They come with two different skirts too. One is flexy the other sculpted. I enjoy the sculpted style more, but that's just me. Flexy is so 2005. Ugh. Just kidding anyways here's the dress! Enjoy

I will be releasing my new dress tomorrow. I worked forking hard on it trying to get back into the grove of making clothes again. Took all damn day. The top I worked on for awhile off and on for a week now. The skirts come in two different version. One sclupted the other flexy. The picture shows flexy. I'll take another photo tomorrow of the sclupted version. I'm really sick right now hence why this post is short and I'm not releasing tonight. Today I've been cleaning all morning. It's going to be another hot day and I am pooped already. Last night I tried to make some new tee shirts and baggy tanks. Didn't work out so great :( I pretty much gave up after four hours. I hate that the only time I have to make clothes is when Hayden is sleeping. That's not a lot of time because she goes to bed at 930-10pm. Then I have to get some rest myself so I usually go to bed around 12-1am. I need the drive again.

As for the outfit I am sporting today. It's rather boyish. Tomboy is the right wording that you would say to describe this outfit. I love to mix and match my clothes with my old school vintage sl fashions. I mean lets not waste good fashion right? Does anyone recall when Nylon first came out with her store back in Miramare days? Well. I was digging around in my inventory to find a bad ass tee. I found her old "East Coast Love" tee-shirt. It brought back so many good memories that I had in second life when everyone use to play and we all we're in that "new friends" stage. We were all good friends, we all played all day and night, and well all enjoyed each others company. There was never drama it was all laughs and giggles. Random stupid animations would be played and voice/skype wasn't created. Whenever we felt the need to voice, we would jump back on there.com. Or we would use yahoo or vent. That was it. The good old days. It reminded me of my first store back when I first met Kimberly Casanova and the beginning of our wonderful friendship. It reminded me of when Garbage first started his little shopping plaza and it for sure remind me of the happiness I experienced with great friends and great times in second life. I sound like a hoarder, but I will never let go of this tee shirt. It's a true joy to have it as you can tell from my little ramble. It's the small things that matter to me. Like this raggy looking pixel tee-shirt holds so much meaning to me. LAWLZ. I shall be quiet now. I'm annoying myself with this sappy bullshit talk. On with zee outfit shall we. I decided to wear my baggy boyfriend jeans from Maitreya. At first I was sporting my Drunks but then I thought cause it's so hot irl that it would be best to wear some sandles. I remember toast bard made some really good Boho sandles too. Shiny things was the next best thing for me though. I can't find my toast bard boho sandles. They come in white so I think you should go with thoughs, if you cant find them then go with shiney things. Both are very similar just toast has her style in white. I just wanted to look comfy today so my outfit is pretty simple and has no theme! Enjoy

Some days it's hard for me to work my Gothic/grungy side. I'm always so chic/casual/Soho style. I love being comfy and sometimes I feel like being a damn all black widow. Just a simple black dress is one rule for women. I find a simply black dress with lace and bows are the rule for the underground kids these days. The other day I saw a scene teen wearing a tutu and a bright ass both on her head. Very lady GAGA the head band was. I wish I can find a weave bow so i can be a black lady gaga! Anyways, I found this old outfit in my inventory by Amerie Spitteler. I love her store. It's very unique. Every things so bright and colourful then she has a few items like these that are so grungy urbanish Gothic style. Amerie's Naughty is the store name. I am wearing to sets of her outfit. One is the dress it's called Jellybean. The other outfit I took her gloves and added them with the dress because they were lace. That outfit is Treated the Heart. Keep that in mind the dress does not come with the sleeves and gloves. I love the way how the dress is so poofy and full of lace. The silk style bow with a beautiful Persian pattern adds some class to the outfit. The colour combination is adorable and easy to match up with other items in your inventory. For shoes I went with a simple heel, Armidi to be exact. My hair I got at hair fair, you all know this. I love the flapper style. The curls are so sweet and shirely temple like. Anyways that's all I have to say about this outfit. Dress it up with some more pearls and be a little lotila for today or just wear the dress without the sleeves so there isn't much lace, but today I feel like lace.

The wheater network declares that today it will be cloudy with light rains and a high of 19 here in Thunder Bay. Also the UV report says it will be 5. Still pretty high. I hate the UV index, cause I always check it and smoother Hayden with overly amounts of sunscreen.
Around in secondlife I don't know what to do lately. I want to make some clothes but I'm just oh so bored with clothes making. Maybe because Hayden won't let me or if I'm just to tired. Everytime I pick up my tablet and try to look for some ideas I always get shut down with either low self-esteem or I hear a baby cry. Anyways, I've been into blogging other peoples clothes because it's farely simple and easy for me to do. Maybe Kenzie Craven owner of KENZIE&CO will now be a fashionistia blogger! A Rachel Zoe of secondlife?

On a Cloudly Day...
What does one wear? I got it. Let's see... it's going to be slightly warm, mostly humid and it may rain. I would say some shorts, sneakers and a light sweater! Sounds somewhat pleasing.

Perhaps this little outfit will work. I find the shorts still give you the spice every girl needs to work it on warm days. I love love hi-tops. I own two pairs in irl. I would get more but they're so damn expensive. If it's not nike's or circa it's chucks! So look for those style of hi-tops when wearing shorts. I think they give you that flare or a hipster. Who knows... all I know is they're adorable. We all know you dont wear hi-tops with out the blank white socks. Camie Cooper made this socks years ago for our P.J party. They're called risky business. Last time I heard she wasn't playing anymore and sold her land. I dont think they are for sale anymore. Sadface. So because my day is still going to warm but it may be wet having a pair of sneakers is a must because I hate soggy toes and a light sweater. My good friend Garbage made this badass sweater awhile back. It's a beautifully done cardigan. I love how it looks so soft and smooth but still gives you a boho indie feeling. It's very well done indeed, best cardigan I've every had. I'm not just saying that either because he's my friend, I'm just being honest. For the hair! well what can I say, Lamb. Lamb came out of no where for me. She's is truely a blessing to secondlifes hair. I mean 60% of the time I am probably wearing Lamb. Everything about her hair, from the prim work, the texture detail of whisps of hair, or strands, everything! I truly love her hair... wonderful work and well worth the money you pay. I love the hat that came with the hair. It's very flapper style so it gives another little flare to my outfit. It's pretty casual but that is how I'm feeling today.

Hair Fair! How dare you?!

Mr or Mrs Hair Fair You should be ashamed of yourself! Taking my hard earned money away from my beautiful upper corner for the cause of making locks for beautiful children in need IRL! HOW DARE YOU! I just wanted to stand up and give stand obviation to all the designers who made beautiful hair for the fair. I love every single one I bought this weekend. I am rotating them all. One hour LAMB. the next hour clawswroth, then later on maybe some other crazy hair I got. I love it! I must say though I made an oath. No more hair purchases for about a year? I think that sounds good.

It's been a rough month or so for me. Let me just declare that I've graduated from high school and I'm proud to say it! It's about time, after seven years going back and forth, working to school! I am proud to say that I have finished and now can go on to the next chapter of my life. Now for this part of my blog I'm not going to be so funny and jokey about it, but I have to say... I did it all for my daughter. With God's help and strength that helped me spend those long hours reading and studying. My great partner in crime to take time out of his busy schedule and help me with our daughter so that I can get it done. & My teacher, my wonderful teacher! Her words will always remain in my head. She was so supportive and encouraging! I shall miss her. I think that any person, age, skin colour, female male! Can go back to school even if you have a kid. Even if you've made mistakes! Go back to school the reward of finishing is so invigorating. I am the first in my family to actually graduate from a high school, no GED or mature students test! I am the first in my family to make my grandparents and parents proud! on that day and in that special moment (I'm sure I'm not the first I should actually revise that). But most of all... walking across that stage and seeing my little girl clap for me was the most powerful moment I guess you could say. I felt so accomplished and so proud of myself. I haven't felt that way since I gave birth to her! I hope that one day she can remember that day and how much my love for her could pull me through anything. ANYWAYS it's 5am. Sorry I'm rambling here about silly stuff. BACK TO SL FASHION! RIGHT?!?! (I know I know... So random) So hopefully things cool down right now and then I can start making clothes again and enjoy life a little bit. Right now is family time because I've been so busy with school, but I have been online more! So Hopefully! Crossing my fingers... I'll be making clothes in a few weeks.

So after I went shopping... I had to start wearing my hair. Where to begin. Well... I went !VA! Mademoiselle! Soil is the colour I picked today! I just love the whole 50's bee heave it's adorable. With the theme I had to go with a retro looking kinda outfit. I didn't want to go with atilleri, duh. So I dug around in my inventory and looked for clothes that I haven't worn in a really long time. With all this high-fashion b.s and sculpties crap I found a simple old shirt that I use to love and wear all the time! back in the day! It's by oxygen called - WB Striped Halter. It was classic and I still love it. I forgot I had it but it always completes my outfits. It's just so simple and easy going looking. I guess that's why I love it so much. The halter is by Vee Grace. I'm not sure if the store is still open but you could try her name or something. Then I went for some bad ass looking shorts, gimme some spice and sexy appeal! So of course we went with Aoharu's denim shorts! Very Coco's undone jeans. Which I also love. It's so skanky, but I mean a good pair of undies makes it look rather... okay. it's second life! there's no need for class today ladies and gents. I'm really into this rocky grunge look. So pretty much anything vinyl or pleather or studded or metal looking, I pretty much wear it. I took my undies OLD SCHOOL. Thank god for sl and keeping things fresh cause these undies I got from the beginning of my time. When I was a goth/vampire RAWR are you scared? You should be. Then to bring my outfit back down from skanky to urban funk we went with the UBU Drunks! gotta love the drunks because you can change the colours on them!

So you think you can shutt me out all day DOOO YOU!!! HMM?!?!?!

I really just dont have a clue why I bother with these things. I sit there and click "Teleport" over and over, hoping that finally, yes finally I will magically teleport through my Internet cords and land in the Sim called "Hair Fair" Negative. You know what happens. A really annoying also dreadful noise continues to echo through my ears! I was denied. DENIED OVER AND OVER AGAIN! I am sitting here looking at fashionplanet.worldofsl.com and everyone is showing off their beautiful new hairs and I'm sitting here like pretty woman. Crinkled money in my hands waiting to purchase the goods but for some reason some DOUCHE will not let me in. So please forgive me that I'm getting rather annoyed. I tried to get in last night when it first open failed and it was to late my time because I am EST. I gave up and went to bed but this morning, when it's like 4am PST time? Don't you people SLEEP!!!

First off I get in finally. Thank the God's because I was getting really worried there. I did expect the lag to be horrid as usual but what I didn't expect to see is so many people walking around wearing prims and 390840 attachments.

Really now? Is it necessary to come to the Hair Fair all decked out in your finest attire? I did see a few people who were completely naked and I give you the thumbs up <3 because honestly, that's the way to do it. Another question too. Did anyone every tell you that when you're doing fairs and your pictures are high rez or huge sizes they TAKE FOREVER To REZZ :(( Please next year make your pictures so tiny that they're like 250x250. I hate sitting here for 3498mins waiting for your pictures to rez. The builds of the little shops for the hair fair were adorable but again, really laggy. With all the glowing and sclupties that stuff just kinda puts a damper on my parade. Enough bitching already. I enjoyed my time at the hair fair, spent well over 10,000 bucks on hair that I probably will wear only once.

I do have to say I found some really awesome hair. I found hair that I forgot about their designers and It's really nice to remember their wonderful talents. I have to say that after walking around the south west side of the fair I was about ready to call it a day and end this fiasco. THEN THE GODS of second life came down and rained their anger upon me. I get kicked and now I cant log back on. I'm Kenzie Craven and I got laundry to do PEACE!!

BOUT' TIME! Right... Right!

I made some new stuff. I hope you guys like it. It's pretty simple and plain but these pieces are the only things I could have time to make. I told you all how obsessed I have become with the high waisted skirts! I made some of my own. A plain remake. Just a simple cotton style high waisted skirt. No zippers, no pockets (should have made some pockets now that I think about it) and no... stitching. Except! on the sides. It has a bit of stitching. Anywhoo... I love them but I also hate them so I'm selling them really cheap. Say.. a whole 75L!!!! Cha ching.. Nice right. And then I made some V Necks. I love love V necks IRL. Big deal to me. White ones black ones all colours! any vneck and I will wear. I made some V necks with the pocket over the breast. I think their fun and cute. Casual of course but still it's wicked awesome. LAWLZ and last... I have some splatter tights for those fun fuggers out there. I love crazy tye dye tights right now. You know what. I am so sick of these 'valued' customers these days. First off! I get an IM from a lady by the name of Dirty Flux. She said that my vendors were broke so she bought the wrong item. I'm not going to lie, I'm probably one of the worst content creators around. I just redid my store it's a mess, I'm sorry. I wrote the woman back to please send me the transaction number and then I will resend. I wanted the number to confirm the purchase. She wrote "Umm... ok" "umm... hold on" and I kept asking her. "Hello do you still want the shirt?" "Hey are you there, I can still help you if you need it" "Hi, I have to go to class soon can you please give me the number so I can resend the shirt" I'm not one of those crazy tycoon designers who loves the money. I love making clothes because it's just that. I love making clothes on here. It isn't about business with me, it isn't about money. It just pays my shopping habits here in secondlife and sometimes irl. I could care less about my store. THIS IS A GAME. The advantage for me is I make a little extra while being at home. I went to class and she IM'd me later. Saying "Hey can I have that shirt now"... Don't demand please. That's really rude. SECONDLY... I AM NOT A BITCH TO MY CUSTOMERS UNTILL YOU'VE MADE ME BECOME A BITCH! Frankly with the whole bullshit of people blogging about your customer service and shit it's not worth it to be a bitch to someone. Cause really it comes back to haunt you.

Today, today... AHH TODAY. What a beautiful day!! It really is wonderful outside. I need some shorts irl and some skirts! Acid wash... yea baby. All different kinds of skirts!

I was never really into skirts or anything girly when I was a youngin. All I wanted was baggy jeans, overalls and tee's. Everything else that was in the girl section seemed a bit much. Sometimes I even found my self buying clothes from the boys side. I was a tom boy.

Alright. I'm not going to lie. Here is an embarrassing fact about Kenzie Craven. When I was a little girl I wanted to be a boy. There you have it. I use to ask my mom to cornrow my hair, I use to play with boys, I didn't like to wear my shirt and pretty much played with G.I Joes and Ninja Turtles when playing barbies. I also loved transformers and the other guys that would transform to robotic animal. I can't remember what that show was called! OH and mainframe? I dint know! ANYWAYS I wanted to be a boy so I hated dresses, frills and skirts. I always wanted to wear shorts or pants! Now TODAY... I'm really into skirts and dresses. But short dresses... I guess you could say my looks irl are transferred on to her with my boy wishing past. Even though my av is feminine and sultry looking, I really just love tee's and jeans or tee's and a skirt. My look that I am blogging to you today is really all about skirts and tee's.

I have been in the dark it seems when it comes to who's the newest great fashion designers because I found two! One named Sugarcube and the other Emery! I love love love their stores. I love emery because a lot of her designs is what I would wear IRL. I was getting tired of combine all these crazy looks with other peoples outfits. Here she has her own crazy look in one outfit! It's a steal shopping at her store. Though they are photo sourced, they still look wonderful on your av. I try to stray away from photo sourced clothing, it tends to make me look like one of those paper dress up dolls and you've put a clip out from fashion magazine onto my doll. Honestly though. Emery is my newest Fashion Designer FAV! I love her style, her clothes are wicked and her store is so pretty. She's got talent that is for sure.

I love how they're so out there but still casual. You can wear it with anything really. Just look at my little assembles. I look like a high school girl in one, the next a cute little punk rocker and the next a classy chic glam chick. It's versatile.

This outfit in particular is my favorite right now. It's reminds me of back in the day, Sid vicious Iggy pop style. The whole trashy looking punkster. For some reason that is my style right now. It's a little annoying because I've gone through 6 packs of nylons, two fishnets and the other four are just normal ones. I make my own holes and tears in them and after a good night of going out. Or even a day I need new ones cause the holes got to big or too many runs. Torn nylons are hard to sport. Cause you could either look like a whore or a hooker or just a dirty street person. So me as a mother, I don't want to portray those images of me. I want to be the cool hip mom. A mom who has style ( I actually wear sweats around Hayden lol).

So If you are anything like me. You want to look like a girly girl but you're totally not. Here are some examples. This last picture is FOR SURE girly. Everyone was raving on about P;C and they're new spring/summer(?) line. Well I guess I should follow the trend right? I guess so. I hate following. Anyways. I loved the hair and the glasses. The skins we're to die for but... I mean... it just didn't look right on my Avie. So I went for another great alternative (Drawing in my eyebrows is a new fetish), &Bean. I love love her angry skins. Though pale is a bit WHITE for me. I still love it and wear it. It makes me feel so Victorian/twilight looking. TH ATS RIGHT I SAID TWILIGHT. I feel like Bella Cullen. Le sigh, Oh Edward, where art mah Edward?

For this outfit I was going for the whole New York City look at first because of the hair. For some reason I get the Marie Antoinette vibe. I went with flower printed dresses, then floral printed skirts and then finally I said "I can't do this, it's so... tacky." I went the other route. Grabbing my denim Jacket, my nice matte style leggings and this adorable frilly skirt from Sugarcube! Which is my feminine touch to my avatar today. Plus the hair. I loved the way it looked. Then it came to the top. I had tons of trouble there. I'm really into baggy tee's, in fact I went to my local thrift stores and got tones all for 10 bucks. WICKED RIGHT?!?! I noes. I'll take pictures because I think everyone should do that. I'm such a recycle freak now. Anyways about the shirt on my av, I went high and low, trying on everything from tanks to Cami's to tube tops FINALLY! I saw this ole beauty in my inventory. A long time ago when Lo Jacobs made this shirt. My friend Camie Copper and I NEVER took this shirt off. She use to get so mad at me too because she wanted to wear it but I wouldn't take mine off. So we always looked similar. But it's a wonderful shirt! I'm not to sure if she's still selling it but it's to die for. I love it!

So... I've been really REALLY busy. It's so weird how life works. One day I'm so unbusy, bored and restless. Then the next day I am up to my neck in cleaning and errands. Then the next day it's like... Whoa Hayden.. What's gotten into you! It's amazing how life works. Peace and utter happiness one day. The next day chaos and hatred. Life. LIFE!!... fuck life. Just kidding.

Anyways. As far as the moving goes. I have to let you all know I AM SORRY! I thought it was going to take one day but it's taking a while now. I built a store stupidly at the wrong land and when I placed it I lost so much stuff because of the plot size. Things go returned and it was all in pieces. I hate puzzles and how long they take when I'm in a rush. I decided to just put it all back together by building it over. Some of my boxes where I had my clothes for sale also got returned. Now I have to dig through the textures and set them up again. That's why it is taking me such a long time to open my store. Once again I regret to say the store shall be open tomorrow hopefully.

I've started working on a new set of jeans and then a new dress then add-ons (like tattoos, bruises, bracelets EVEN A MACHETE) but i failed at it all...

Kenzie craven was busy with her real life new addiction. That's right... I am hooked on twilight. I finished reading them a couple days and let me say this to you. One. I love you Edward Cullen, please let me be you Bella. Two. I've never read that many pages in such a short time span! -Pats herself on the back.- I usually read small novel just to help me fall asleep or bio's on the newest actor/model/icon I am in love with. I watched the movie (Twilight) and I had to know what else happens. I couldn't just wait the ten months for the stupid movie. I had had had!! to know. No one would tell me they all told me to read the effing books. So I did... then I disappear for a week... completely forgetting the world and becoming more and more obsessed with these books. I even went to walmart at one point at one o'clock in the morning to get the last book. I cried so hard at the ending part of the last book. I've never been so into a book before that I am just... baffled. I find it really amusing and annoying that I talk so damn much about this story. It's amazing. I love it... I love Edward. I want to bone... Edward. :( Anyways I'm back guys! don't worry... I've been youtubing Robert Pattison for the past three days so I'm making clothes while watching him on YouTube. It's all good.

I know I was going to release them the "the next day" of a week ago. But I was sick... really sick :( I couldn't stop coughing. I sat in the bath like 3 times a day because my mucleses were killing me. It was awful. Then on the 22 we went out of town over night. I do apologise for not being here to answer any IM's that may have been capped. I completely forgot to send out a group notice. Speaking of group notices. Did I tell you all that you should probably join the update group! Because I don't understand subscribe-o-matics. I tried to send them out and it just didn't work! So please... please, join my update group! Until I figure out how else I can send out notices. I also wanted to announce that last week Hayden got her very first tooth! Woo big deal. My little girl isn't a baby anymore. Well she is be at a glance but all the months that have gone by, all that hardcore labour pushing. all of that sleepless nights filled with kicks to the ribs and those little t.v screens that showed me for the first time my little alien baby :) Has gone by... so quickly. When she's not sleeping I've been trying really hard to enjoy our time together because soon she won't want to spend time with me or cuddle... she'll be off with the neighbourhood kids, running around wildly. ENOUGH ABOUT MY DAUGHTER. Jeez...
So I made the dresses about a week ago. Then got sick so I couldn't release them but I am now! FINALLY. The dresses come in four different colours. There is blueberry and yellow colour scheme, there is a browny burnt coffee looking colour with aqua, there is a purple and green colour scheme and teal and red colour scheme. They're all a plaid school girl style outfit. For some reason I have been into plaid. I just cant stop with the plaid. IRL and SL. The dresses will be for sale for 225 this evening. New Furniture

HAPPY ST. PATRICKS DAY!!!

So I made some new furniture! Aren’t you excited? I am! Lawlz. It’s kind of a surprise that I would make furniture. Me, Kenzie Craven... owner of lixz wear, Kenzie, and Kenzie&Co... Now making a furniture line! LaWLZ! It was I say. Well I’ve always made my own furniture to be honest. I don’t like buying anything that I feel I could make. So I recently made this bedroom set for my house and now I want to make myself a new one. I decided to sell this one. Just because it’s really nice. It has a corn/instinct feel to be honest. All the shadowing, well detailed furniture tables and dresses. It’s a white wood mixed with oak. A very modern 60’s feel to it. Then I put a checker or flannel sheet and pillows for the bed in red. I don’t have a touch change texture script or else I would have put some different kinds of fabric. Other than that I think it’s the only flaw. I fell in love a while back when instinct first came out with their beds and how it had the cuddles and sex balls in the bed for you. You didn’t have to add all these other random balls around your room and hide them. They were already there for you. I loved that feature so I went out of my way to find the scripts and the menu/animations for the “Sex Bed” and installed that into my bed! Now you all can have sex in my bed! For a small amount of 900L (Also I don’t have sex on sl. I just can’t. One I’m married and two it’s overrated. ;)). YAY! For cuddle beds! It has two sections of cuddles so that’s a lot! Just come on down to the store and touch the bed to activate the menu! Then you should be able to try out the animations. I have a fat back for the whole bedroom set. I lowered the price from last night because I felt I was over pricing them. I hate seeing over priced items on sl! That’s probably my biggest pet peeve of this game. Anyways enough of that ramble. I lowered them, so the set comes with... two night tables, two lamps, the magazines, the dresser with mirror, and the record set. All for 1k. I think that’s a reasonable price! If you don’t tell me :P I’m new to this.

Well my sister just came back from Vegas. She had a wonderful time. Me on the other hand has been battling my common law/siginifcant other. My sister has three wonderful children all two years apart, the oldest is 4 turning 5 this year. So you can understand how hectic her life is. While I fight with my partner, take care of a baby plus try to balance work and play on secondlife... I always come back think of her. I usually have no time on SL at all because of Hayden. If her dad is not here... I feel it is his duty to take care of her while I have some me time. He works out of town so he isn't here during the week. So during the day it's all about hayden until she goes to sleep. That's when I shower, eat something finally and then enjoy secondlife. My sister on the other has three... plus her last child is only 6 months so... I mean. HOW DOES SHE DO IT... Today I am taking her two older children. Now her son is a gift from God. I swear he is the best child I've known. The only time he freaks out is when you crush or break his transformers. Any other time he finds things to amuse himself. Lulu is the destroyer. Don't let her near a thing. She's broken two of my keyboards, one cellphone (she stole and left it outside) and a few knick-knacks I had around the house. But she's adoreable so it makes up for her... lets call them mighty powers.

As for today, I have much to clean and tend too. I wanted to say that my life on sl is getting more dull. To the point that I signed back up for plurk to help pass the time while I am on SL. Make it a bit more... exciting. Well plurk got old. Very fast. Plus I found my self just ranting to randoms. Some people on my list were good friends but a lot of my close friends that I usually b**** too don't use plurk. I also just didn't know how to get more people to respond. I see people with poll style questions, but that just isnt me. lawlz.

So in a nutshell... this week maybe slow for clothes making, just because I want to help my sister out more with her kids and I need to spend a little more time in real life. :D

ARE YOU READY! So lately there's been a lot of plaid shirts, plaid pants and plaid vests going around. I thought I would included to my plaid addiction. I've been buying up plaid shirts IRL. Not... just the regular button up style, it's a button up but long/dress shirt style. I went on to my favorite site looking for ideas of what I could make next. I found this lovely dress! I had to make it because I crave it IRL. Anyways. The name of it means "Gangster Girl" Just because in the movies you see a lot of gangsters wearing a plaid shirt like this one. Usually just the top button is done but it's a great name for my new dresses. I love these dresses so much because they're just perfect, everything. It has a prim collar to make it more realistic and you to can pop your collar now on SL. It comes with a flexy prim skirt with a V or U shaped front. Make it have some more funky to it. I added some buttons and a low low low neck line to show off your sweet and sours. Another thing I love about this shirt. If you want to be sexy wear nothing underneath it. If you want to look more casual and less whoreish, wear a tee shirt or a tank top underneath it because it's a sleeveless style shirt. So layering it would work perfectly. I made about 6 colours, red (Bloods), blue (Grips), Copper, Pink, Purple, White and Mustard.

CHOCOLATE MILK! - Nick Magic's store made a new tee shirt. It's pretty awesome. I love it so much it's just this cool paint spatter look. He made it because he feels he has never seen anyone with this style TEESHIRT before. He's knew to designing so... let's give him a big around of applause huh! I think this tee shirt is awesome.

I hope you guys found the new dresses okay. With the confusion of landmarks and locations. Damn the man. Well I finally released the dresses late last night and blogged about it to the world this morning. Just not on my own blog. Like I said yesterday they're only 250 lindens a piece. A lot of people have been buying them today so I am assuming that's a good sign, right?

I've been out and about all day today. I dont know if it's the same way as it is in the states but right now is the time to do your taxes. It was a long boring day of getting taxes, groceries, and paying the bills. LE SIGH. Rl... is such a drag, right? Unless you have a baby they make it awesome and fun.

I have a new dress on the way. Sometime tonight or maybe tomorrow morning. Right now my boyfriend is home and as I write this he is giving me the stare down like "Woman... come and spend time with me." so... I spent all day on this dress. I call it Morning Dew. It's a hippie-ish style dress. More so, down town urban new york? Or Cali style? Hmm... anyways. I was rather fond of this dress once I saw it and had to make it. I have a few other ones that I have on my list of things to make that I cant wait to try and see if I can replicate it in SL. I tried to make this dress work with sculpty skirt shapes but it didn't work out so I resorted to flexy skirts. Oh well right. Anyways, I had some trouble with this pattern because it was kinda... tricky to line everything up. I had some great help from my Friend Nick Magic (Did I tell you he sells amazing TEE shirts at DUCLE!) He doesn't really like my bewb shading. He said it makes my tits look saggy :( But other than that... he loved the dress. I love it as well.
It's very causal and hipster like. You can dress it up with Shiny Things Comfy Boots or some cute flats with a pointed toe. I like those styles. :D Anyways... Its going to be for sale around 250L each. I have, rose Mary red, a frogy yellow green, a nice sunset sky blue, a sweet purple, a white and a pinky colour. Thank you! I am sharing my newest favorite outfit. Today was pretty boring if we compare it to last night. I am happy that today was boring or uneventful today. Yesterday was a pretty dramatic day for me. As we all know because you cant teleport there or if you have the polt is empty. I got into a little cat fight with on of the managers of Great Briton (GB). Resulting in my termination of renting at the sim. I was fine with that because it was over a childish reason. It amazes me how one person could be so rude, cold and easily enraged by a small rumor or misunderstanding. I inturn begged him not to take it out on the rest of the member who rent with me. As I went to collect my belongings and be on my way, I was banned. Just like that, no warning, no reason. Just poof. I asked him to let me back in, he did. I grabed my thinngs and left. Though... as I grabed my things other problems had arised... ending in us all leaving. I'm really sorry to all of my friends who listened to me. I wish I could turn back time and say ... Don't rent here. I dont care that I lost a place to rent, but I do care about my friends and their business/stores in sl.
I just wanted to make that little annoucement because I am sure people are teleporting there and are like... uhh?? Where is Appearance Mode. -Slaps her forehead.- Me and my big mouth right? I can never just... leave things alone.

As the day continued on I had a fall out with my boyfriends mother, my daughter is sick, my life stinks, and I'm was running on four hours of sleep. It just wasn't a good concoxtion of a Friday night. But now my boyfriend is home and I can finally ignore my RL (Except for hayden) and just have some fun and relaxation.

Today, Cupcake opened. I got the special invite but I was drained when it opened so I spent the majority of the time in my warm comfy bed. I came back on for the last bit of it. I didn't know that Dejavu was opening there! I was so excited, I teleported my mom, my friends and random people on my list because I have been dying for this hair. I bought most of the hair there. Some of the hair that I tried on was a bit... unfaltering for my liking. It either was... out there or... just going to be a pain in the ass for me to mod. Other than that I found the textures on the hair to be wonderful, I even dipped into the emerald pack. I pretty much stuck to the black though. Can never go wrong with black. Or... shall I say. ONCE YOU GO BLACK YOU NEVER GO BACK.
I put on an old favorite of mine. Surf Couture's tied back polo shirt. Back when Emma use to make surf.co clothes... and her laptop was broken :P I wore this shirt ALL the time. It's sexy but also fun and casual. I love it. I put on the grey to help balance the colour of my skirt. Which is from DP. It reminded me of Mrs. Doubtfire. When he got all dressed up in that pelted skirt, zomg... so funny. I pikced brown for my bottom, because even though spring is here and it's time to bust out the florals and pastles. I like to stick to my earth tones than pastels. I added PIG's garter socks to add some spice to my skirt. Seeing how the skirt reminded me of an old man dressing as a lady, I wore an old mans socks. They have to be my all time favorite in second life right now. I wear them with everything (Thanks Uma, if it wasn't for you... I would have never heard of PIG.)

MY RANT FOR TODAY:

Doesn't it piss you off when you have been friends with someone for so long and they just... turn out to be someone completly different? I dont understand how peple say this is a game or they say "I take my friendship seriously. All of my friends on here I would meet in RL" That's how I feel. All of my friends on here I care about. All of my friends on here know me for me. Even though I am a bit more let loose on here... they still know me. I am so sick of two faced people. I can't stand it anymore. Why is it that when you make 'friends' with someone they show you a sweet person and then they hang around a certain person or crowd and they change, COMPLETELY. Even to the point where they're changing their avatars looks.
I've always said this to everyone... and myself. Just be you, God made us all unique. We don't have to fit in with someones trend, someones groove. Just be you... and thats all that matters because if everyone is going to be a "It" girl. Then the world is going to be a very dull place!

A while back Garbage, Guerrilla Kara and I decided to rent some land over at Great Briton. A friend of mine was a Co. Manager there. She was really cool about letting us renting there and even cut us a deal. The thing is... apparently rumour has it. The sim maybe shutting down in a month. We just moved there and set up this beautiful sim-like plaza/city. It was wonderful I love everything about it. It looks great. It feels great. And people like it! I have great sales a great briton, but when things seem to good to be true, they usually are. Now I am at a cross... Should I just leave Great Briton and move in with the mother bear back in Ducle and make that my main store? But that's the thing. This will be the fourth time I've moved in the past 8 months. I don't mind just deleting it all because I like my more over at Dulce more but people are going to start hating my store due to the fact we keep moving. Hopefully Appearance Mode will keep on and live strong, but... the outlook is very cloudy and dull. :( Just an FYI... a heads up to everyone. I think it's best to say.... just start going to ducle for my items. :( Great Briton may be deceased in a short time.

Thanks to this beautiful outfit I am le broke. :D Somewhat. Just no more spending, which is hard to tell me. I love shopping. I love buying random junk. It's my addiction. I am forsure an impluse buyer. Even if I dont like... I'll say "I dont have it so I'll take it". Weird right? I know. Anyways some of my friends (Fran, Olivia and Autumn) Went shopping. We happened to stop at this cute little park avenue store, called Cheeky Girl. I found it mouth watering adoreable. I had to buy up the lingere. I picked up the Agnes (That was my cousins nannys name. AGNES. We use to call her EGGS.) set in Lavender. It's really beautiful. If you're into the whole vintage style lingere, this is the place to get it. It makes me feel like a twist of Katy Perrys new video (Thinking of You) and Dita Von Teese. I also had purchased Lo Jacobs - Fairy outfit a while back. I am SO happy that she is back and is making clothes again. Way back when I adored her store and all that she made. I remember Kimberly Casanova and I always ALWAYS wore her outfits, mostly the tee's. Cowboy croped shirt, the polos, the blondie tee's, NICOLE TEE! God. She's just a talented designer and I love her lines, so smooth and clean cut! She's well worth her very low affordable prices. You gotta love Lo! and Curch Of Lux. TY TY ole gal. I added her skirt to my little get up. IT just added that flare that I need. It's kinda of like Lady GAGA when she was in London on the chilly night and she was clubing. She wore those wicked piolet glasses(or were they like milrite glasses? I dunno my dads a weilder and I remember him bringing me home a pair) with her pvc bra and pencil skirt. Well this is my remake on it. LESS PVC though! Anyways I wanted to share this with everyone!

I made a new dress! Aren't you excited! I am! I was pretty disappointed in the way it came out to be honest. It's just the damn prim part, but nothings perfect right? At least at my store... lawlz. I do love the style of this dress and the wrinkles. I love the fact that I can dress it up or down. It's one of those dresses that is day or night, causal or fashionistia. It's all on you. It took me a couple days to work on the bottom and two days for the top. Just because I couldn't get anything right on this dress. Mainly my daughter is teething so my time is cut short on sl... Poor baby girl :( At least I think she's teething. Anyways... enough baby talk! I want to take garbage for all his advice and support on this dress because I was ready to scarp the whole thing until he said just leave it and sell it. Cause it looked great to him. Which is really why I played with it a bit more and now releasing it soon. It should be released tomorrow... right now it's 1 am and it's bedtime for me. I just want to get everyone on their little toes about this!

Good day! NEw Baseball Shirts! KENZIE&CO Update baby!

Hey there HEY THERE! I say. So... A month ago- correction a couple months ago my friend, Francois, had asked me to make him this shirt. It’s a baseball style but without the crew cut. He wanted a V-Neck. I’m a huge fan of v-necks right now so I couldn’t say no. It was a great suggestion and I’ve been wanting to make some baseball style shirts for a while. As I started to work on the shirt I had some troubles. Sometimes it would really bother me when I would do the collar. I probably did it over three different times. One with stitching/dashes then another time with just lines for a stitching and then... just using shading for it. After a while I finally just said ahhh the hell with it! And just did it the way I first had it, but added the line stitching to it as well. I kept it to myself for a while just because I really like the way it turned out. First time I have ever done that in my life as a designer! (P.S I was just too lazy to release it.)
Also news for Kenzie&Co. We have two new stores. First... and I’m really excited about this. Let me tell you a story. A long time ago when I was really into Midnight City back in 04. I always loved what they created, but I also longed for something... different. My mother took me to a store (Yes my RL Mother plays and its embarrassing). It was called Nylon Outfitters. It was the ADOREABLE little white shop in Miramare.
Mommy: Kenz, I found a store that you would love. Come see
Kenz arrives also slightly annoyed that her Mother is trying to hang out with her.
My reaction: ZOOOOMMMGGGLOLROLLERCOPTER!!!!!!11111!!1!!!!!!!
I died. And then was reborn as a trendy nylon kid. I was so happy and so in love. I also knew her sister, Poly in there.com. We were good friends and loved to gossip. Once Poly had asked me to join Tableau, I couldn’t even respond quickly enough (LIES). I didn’t care of the cost, how many prims. It’s just you know... it tells you. All the work you’ve done has finally paid off because one of the greatest sims has asked you to join. I literally screamed in RL. My boyfriend looked at me like I was so nutty lady just winning a game of e-poker or something. It was just an awesome feeling to be offered a spot there! Not to mention be surrounded by great artistes. My SL is getting better! SO this little portion is to say MANY thanks to Nylon and Poly! Thank you both very much for giving me an opportunity to be in tableau.
A new friend of mine who adore to death, Autumn also offered me a sport at her place. It’s called Festivale. It’s a really interesting place. I love the whole circus feeling. There’s a merry go round and a Ferris wheel! Plus there are lots of great designers there too! So another addition to my stores profile! I thank you very much Autumn for giving me a place to rent at your place.

ZOMG, Kenzie trying to be a fashion blogger? Maybe. I just feel like telling people what I like to wear from time to time. I’ve been away for a while now and I am still trying to catch up on all my shopping. I found some goodies at Artilleri today! My friend Kimberly Casanova was wearing this shirt today and I HAD TO HAVE IT. It’s so good. I’m going on the hunt IRL for this shirt now. It’s to die for. I love everything about it. It was a luscious neck line that deeps low to show off your sexy collarbone area but at the same time it stays classy by not revealing much of the cleavage area. Antonia Marat always know how to make us gals look sexy in animal print but not trashy. To make it a bit more fun and flirty I also add some suspenders. Now I use to wear suspenders all the time from wrong and everyone called me scene. Is it just me or is it... there is no wear to wear suspenders without being called scene now? And it’s in. RUDE! Maybe I was ahead of my times and not scene. LSKDALKS scene –thumbs down-. I love them! They’re tres beautiful. They’re of course by the one and only Armidi (EVERYTHINGS BY ARMIDI THESE DAYS! LAWLZ) As well are the jeans that I am wearing in this photo. These are the best jeans in SL. We all know blah blah blah... the stitching, blah blah even the texture of the demin is unreal, and yada yada love them for life. Now... I am kind of being selfish and wearing one of my own creations. My white Racer back Tank top! (Also tintable). I just wanted to add some layers to my outfit because layering your shirts gives you that extra umf. I’ve been getting into a lot of hats lately and I have to say, fergie in big girls don’t cry influenced me. Now that they’re exploding everywhere you have to get them in SL right? Inorite? So I went on down to Kari and picked up this exquisite hat! Not only is it a beautiful add on to your outfit, it also gives you a variety of options of colours! Which is awesome. Although they are all on pattern the pin striped style. Which isn’t bad, gives you a bit of a God Father look :P I went for a regular pointy toed heel. My shoes are made by Tesla! Anyways I hope you enjoyed reading about my new fav outfit! I hope you look into it because these items are the bomb diggity!

FINALLY! I finished doing the displays for the new dresses and tee-shirts. Gosh darn it! I wanted to release them yesterday but I've been swamped by both IRL and SL! So... It was kinda hard to find some spare time! Sorry for leading you on with my little announcements. I really enjoyed creating my "Funny Little Valentine" Dress! Because the bow reminded me so much of Lady Gaga. I seriously am so in love with her right now. -Goes into poker face mode- Beautiful, dirty rich is my new fave song by her FYI! Anywhoo. It's a cute little formal/party/cocktail dress that you can wear out on Valentines Day or just sport it around your house! Or... go dancing in it! Something! It's somewhat an emperor style shape of a dress. It blooms out after your bust line. It's cute! I adore it. I hope you do too. I created nine colours. Four bright, bold colours and Five dull colours! Last month I was really scratching my head on what to do for Valentines Day regarding KENZIE&CO wise. I wanted to do something fun and out there. What would I have done though? Hey GAIZ! I finished! all done now. The Racer back Tank Tops are now up and ready for grabs! I also have my bows up too! Then later on in the day I felt like making some more tee's. Kenzie and CO! IS BACK... kinda. It's hard right now cause ferl went out of town a couple days ago so it's been just me and my little girl!
Today with the little time I had, I came on and took some flickr pictures! I dont know whats wrong with me but I bought this new bed so I felt like taking some smexy pictures. I went over to Sways funiture area. I started looking at all the cute beds she had there. I love the fact that you have two options for covers. One that makes a comforter roll up to the top so the bed isnt all one colour. The second is you have a little blanky that pops up and down. To cover yourself or not to cover? I've been learning to make my clothes slowly. With time and effort. Well not really effort because everytime I get really into it, Hayden interrupts me. I feel so bad so I get off the computer and play with her. It took me a couple days to do the tank. One because I wanted to add a lot of detail but it just didnt come out right. Secondly, I wanted to put some effort into it and not make it look so plain. They did come out plain looking. Tomorrow I will release them sometime in the afternoon or nighttime-ish. I was on the hunt the other day for some new clothes. I am no fashion blogger nor am I a blogger of "second life trends". Well there was a place called MichaMi! I took a look inside because she/he (First time I've been to her/he store... and you never know with today. Today I was thinking as I was playing with my little girl. I was thinking that she's so big now! After seven months and 3 and a half weeks she has grown to be such a good little girl already. When I first found out I was pregnant I really thought I couldn't be a good parent to her. I was 20 years old and just turned 21 shortly after I decided to keep her. I was so immature and I lived to party. I knew nothing but "Having a Good Time". Now that I look at her and see the way how she teaches herself to develop in motor skills and the way she babbles. It makes me laugh but also cry. Just a couple months ago (or so it seems) she just use to sleep, cry, poop, and smile. Now... she's trying to crawl, sitting up, grabbing everything and baby talking :'(. Before the days seemed long and the nights seemed longer. Now... the days and ESPECIALLY the nights... seem so short and time is flying by so fast. Once you have a kid you really appreciate time. I watched Benjamin Button... and that movie made me cry so hard because it's true. As time goes by people get older, live your life to the fullest... this life we have is to short to be unhappy, bitch and moan and sit in our houses by ourselves on a computer. That's how I see it. What you do in this game is your deal but it's a waste of time. I don't mean to sound like a hypocrite because I don't have anything to do right now and I can't do anything. My baby's to small to go out in the cold. But in the summer... it's going to be amazing. I can't wait for summer. Seriously though, I know some people in here that just sits on here, finds love... :( It makes me sad and I hate that I sit on her sometimes and do nothing when I can go out and about. I dunno I'm rambling now. Ignore everything I just said because I'm contradicting myself.

After months and months and months of redoing my store from top to bottom; I am finished. I mean it! I have finished my beautiful store! I hated doing it. I really did. It took so long and it was so hard to do. I've never done anything like this. I'm horrible with photo sourcing things and photo sourcing the buildings and making them come alive was difficult for me. I did it though and it looks actually good! to my standards. I love it. I went for the New York City theme. That's my dream place to live. I divided the walls inside to make it more open. Three buildings but inside it's just one! clever? non? OUI MADAME! I did all of my displays on hangers, that's what took the longest. I also took all of the REALLY old clothes down that I made way back when and kept the most recent stuff. I will soon be opening up a newbie store. I really want to help out the new comers to second life because that was my biggest pet peeve about joining here in 04. At the time the best place to shop was Umber and everything was 100-500. Yeah when skins were 500L. I spent so much money on my starley skins and Mistress, Torrid and Lost thereian. My favorite designers back then. Now it's much easier to find cheap clothes. I am also keeping in mind of my prices. My clothes are going to stay at a cheap rate. I also go on how long and how much effort I put in to make it. So right now... my clothes are from 50-300L Not bad huh?!

For the release I've made some tee's and a new dress.

V-necks are hella in right now. I bought some almost 3 months ago, but I've finally finished mine in second life. I have plain ones and striped ones. They're pretty simple, I made them in tons of colours too. I love them. I also have been keeping in mind of males! YES MY SHIRTS

For the dresses. They are called X Marks The Spot Hemstitch! I love them. It took me three days to finish this product. I'm serious. Only because hayden's a cranky gal and shes pretty buggy when I'm trying to make clothes. But I put so much effort into them. The wrinkles are intense because they're all over the dress. I love it... seriously. It comes in an old blue looking colour, dingy brown, deep red and a yummy green. 220L

Lovely lovely lovely... life. So it was my birthday back in Novemeber. I had a great GREAT time. I went out with my girls and had a little get together with my little girl and mah man. It was a good day. I am no legal all over the world. How does that make me feel? GREAT! Also old. But I got a few summer trips planned already. Vegas, L.A... I want to do it all. California is my dream country to live, but seeing how I am a Canadian... I can't :D Cause I have no reason to live there but a dream. Plus... I would really miss my crappy home town. Hayden is getting bigger and bigger. Shes starting to be more indepented as the days go by. She likes to play by herself oddly. Which means I have a little bit more time to myself. Having a baby really makes you appearicate time. Time waits for no one. My daughter is now 6 months old. She's eating soilds and she's fitting actually clothes. Which means another 6 months she's a year, than another year she's two and another two years she's off to school! That's not far from now. Then what am I suppose to do. My whole life is about her, my days are around her, she's my everything. :( My deeebee is getting so big!!! >:(

For the store: I'm not even close to being done. I still have tons of displays to finish and some small stuff to do. Not to mention I want to make more and more clothes :( Ugh... life in secondlife for me sucks right now.

Tonight a few of my friends and I decided to go and check out good ole Artilleri to see her new funiture. I haven't been online so this was all new to me. I walked into the store, I could hear people talking saying something like "Oh God are they coming over here" I'm not going to lie I may have sounded really annoying because I was excited! I couldn't help it I mean... When you're in your house all day, taking care of your baby and just talking on the phone. It gets old. So once I logged on... saw new furniture (I love furniture) I almost crapped my pants. Anyways, I guess Xyr Frost and Honey Hoffman didn't agree with me. I found them making out in Artilleris kitchen set. I said (Not being rude or making fun of them, I have grown up a lot in the past 14 months people) "In the 50's people would frown upon this because... yadayadayada" Was just you know making conversation. THE CHICK WENT NUTS! AND REPORTED ME! For what? Apparently because my avatar is so damn small.. I, Kenzie Craven am a child! Well.... Let me see. I just turned 21 yesterday, I have a 5 month old baby and yea... It just amazes me how pathetic people can be. I'm half Japanese and half black in RL... I put up with the racism and the judgmental comments. I can handle that... because I've been doing it my whole life. In SL... I play a size 5'5" girl, my height in RL. I wear the same kind of clothes I wear in Rl. I may have a child like voice, but I assure you, mon cheri... I am not. I just think it's disgusting who in people discriminate each other for being a different race, short, fat, ugly, beautiful, thin, tall... just about everything. And now I come on a game where I seek freedom and peace, but instead I'm dealt the same fucking cards!... Well I say to that fucking cunt... fuck yo couch!

Random title I know, but I'm feeding Hayden before we have to go to school. I hate school, I really do. Not because of all the working (I've always liked homework) but the fact that I have to take my little gal to school and that's when she naps, so she wakes up. Then I feed her, change her, and let her have some playtime or tummy time. In that two hours of class time... do you see any room for learning?!? I don't!! Goosshhh... But I do enjoy having her there we me. Some days I hate it cause she cries and whines... and yea, I don't get any work done.

I've been getting into flickr a lot this past week. I don't know how to use it really, but looking at every ones photos just amaze me. I thought the clothes of SL have evolved. Now I think I have no chance at making it anywhere. The furniture is all sculpted, the clothes are oh so divine, the hair is amazing and realistic. Damn you SL! You have out-done yourself. I don't know if I can continue on. I'm just amaze. Every time I leave SL for a little while I come back to everything complete better and different!

My store is currently being reconstructed again. From head to toe. I've finished making the store now the hard part is going through everything and clearing out the old and making new stuff. I've even redid the displays like how I had them with the classy store. Even though it's common (The clothes on the hanger advertisements) I find it looks more professional.

So I've been pretty busy these past week days almost a week now. Working on a new store AGAIN! I know but I am just sick of the layouts I make for my store. Then I get in a creative mode and start making something and then quit half way because I feel either to lazy or to tired to finish it. This time I really am sicking too it! I'm sorta finished. 3/4's finished to be exact... not like... 1/4's. Sorry to get your hopes up! I know it's so annoying how I change the store around all the time so I want to apoligize.

Hayden's getting so big now! It's crazy like I look at her and it makes me want to cry because she use to be so tiny, so dependent on me. Slowly she's starting to find ways to entertain myself. Pretty soon shes gunna be walking, then talking, then shopping, then boyfriends and college. God... I've never loved anyone as much as I love her.

Let me tell you a little something about Thunder Bay, Ontario. My home town.
First off. I am a highschool drop out. Not going to lie. I dropped out in grade ten, then went back and dropped out again. I had a rough life... and in order for me to take care of myself I had to work. Well... Some teachers here thought that I should quit my job starve and go to class and not leave 15 mins early to catch the bus so that I could make it to my job on time. Anyways, that's not the point here. I'm back in school. My school is all the way across town. When I was pregnant and living at home with my mom, I had the privilege of taking my mothers car to school. After I had my baby I moved out on my own with my boyfriend. We have a vehicle but he has it and he is out of town. Plus my class is only two hours long, I dont think it's wise for him to waste gas to drive across town to give us a ride. I would rather us save our gas and I just take the bus. (Plus I'm just not selfish who wants to give someone a ride across town and get them, I wouldn't) My daughter is now 3 months old. I have the carseat strollers. Where you just plop the car seat in the stroller. My stroller is pretty big. When I take the bus we push my cart in the spot for the wheelchairs (i know I know if someone with a wheelchair comes on I have to move.) The thing is though... when the bus is rolling... and people get on they stand in the aile because they dont want to sit next to someone they dont know. I FOR ONE am NOT jugdemental. When I took the bus to work I sat beside the handicap, the old, the smellys, the drunks, the natives, the whites, the blacks. ANYONE. Just so that I wasn't flying around on those bumpy ass bus rides. Well.. these people honestly piss me off. The bus on my way home told us (My class allows me to take my daughter with me. There are other girls there with their kids and they take the bus aswell) "If the bus gets crowed you girls have to fold up your stroller or get off" PFFT Do you see the strollers today?! If I fold it up it's still going to take up two seat, then how am I suppose to hold on to a stroller my baby and my bags?! Use your head people. Not to mention these drivers, are RUDE. They dont just inform us, or mention this small problem about our strollers. They say it to us in the most disrespectful way. I mean... come on here. We aren't dumb we all know you talk about us as if we are some young gals who got knocked up and thought they were mature enough to raise a baby. How we are just young girls riding around with their welfare kids and their welfare strollers! Negative, fuckers! We are young girls taking the bus so that we can get an education. So that we can better ourselves for our childrens futures. They are our next generation, the ones who will be running the world when I am dust! Not you... so take your snobby ass and get off the bus! I am venting about this because it disgusts me. The next time you're on a bus smile to a girl with a stroller and a baby... dont give them a dirty look or a pitty look, because we dont need it! I won't be riding the bus forever, nor will my daughter. I will be something great, for her... not for myself but for her! So sick of these old people too. WHAT?! you're 70+ give it up... walk your ass two or three more ailes to the back and sit down. you dont have to sit in the wheelchair spots. That was rude of me. They can't help it. I'm sorry old people... that you have THE MOST MASSIVE walkers ever!

Here's the deal. As we all know I just had a baby who has taken up most of my time. I've been debating for a long time weither or not to leave sl or continue to play. I love the fact that I have an alter ego. In RL I am Kimiko Mckenzie, a sweet loving mature outgoing smart and fun gal who is now a mother. In SL I am Kenzie Craven, who loves to have fun, be wild, joke around to the point where you could hate me! and is honestly blunt. I also love the fact that I make clothes. I love that about my secondlife. I love to create and build new things. So basically what I am saying is no, I'm not leaving just yet. I will be REALLY busy. I've decided to create a whole new line of clothing. Starting over, so to speak. Everything. After I had hayden I was sick of my clothes, just because I've been gone so long and everyone else (all the designers) have evolved like crazy! It's almost depressing. Everyone elses clothes are like "Holy S***, How the hell am I going to compete with these people!" So I'm doing my best at redoing my moms mini sim and making a little home for my baby!

I would like to say THANK YOU SO MUCH! To everyone who came out and supported my moving sale. I want to really thank you all because right now, things are pretty rough in real life. I messed up on the first day cause hayden was a bit sick. The sale didn't start till the 23rd, which I am truly sorry for any confussion. I knew that once I had my baby I wouldn't be on as much but I mean... she is VERY SPOILED I made the mistake of showering her with love 24-7 (Never putting her down) and letting others hold her whenever. Now she wants to be held all the time. Leaving me with no free-time what so ever. Her dad is out of town working and he isn't around right now to give me that extra help I had before... so it's basically all me right now until he comes back home. lol... but trust me, I'm not bitching. I love being alone with her... it's just me and her. I sometimes feel when she is awake and I'm on the comptuer a bit of a bad mom because I should be playing or talking with her... but then again... that's why she always wants to be held. ANYWHOO enough about Hayden. The sale is doing really good! There are a few things that aren't on sale... such as my tee-shirts and my scarfs. Everything else is on sale though. This is the fifth week of me being a mommy. Many questions have popped up in my little IMer... "Do you love it?" YES! Having Hayden in my life is such a joy and I am just so thankful! What else has my day's consisted of. Oh... Lots of diaper changes and feedings! I mean... The one thing that bugged me the most about my whole pregnancy and post-prenatal was that no one told me how hard breastfeeding was. A lot of people told me how hard it was going to be for me as a mother, but not at the whole breastfeeding. It took us about two and a half weeks for her to learn how to breastfeed properly. She lost so much weight I was really scared. She was six pounds and five ounces when she was born, she dropped to about five pounds afterwards. I've been trying really hard lately to jump on the computer. I just honestly do not have enough time anymore to make clothes and do the things that I was able to do before. It makes me sad to say that... I think I might shut down my mainstore. I might also just use my small shop at Appearance Mode. Even at that... I mean it will be hard for me to keep up with it. I just feel that when I am able to come online the way that I use to I will have the commitment of having my store. I know that I keep posting and posting that I have new stuff in the works but really... it's just a doodle on a template and nothing serious. I feel that I am neglecting my store and my customers that keep asking for new stuff. I want to be a good mother and give my daughter all the attention she needs. Even though she is so tiny and doesn't really need much attention now, she's only going to get bigger and I don't want to miss out on anything in her life. I don't want her to feel that she has to ask to spend time with me. I feel that I need to be there for her at all times. I've been trying for the past three weeks to update my store and I can't because I just have so much going on. So I made a few things way back before I had Hayden! Now I'm finally releasing them because I finally have some free time and feel good! I'm gunna keep this short.

Basically we have a set of dresses and bikinis! The dresses are a very chic and cute casual yet formal outfit. Double buttons up the front with lots of pleets around the skirt! Lovely aint it?

For the bikinis pretty straight forward... just stripes on the side, halter style, and low cut for the bottoms. SEXY!

I know I know, it has been forever. Well here's all the news on my new daughter and I. First off let me just say how much I effing LOVE HER!

On June 3rd my water broke at like 12:37am... I was so scared! Cause it wasn't a gush of water it was like a slow trickle! I thought I pee'd a little bit. I called telehealth and they told me to go to the hospital. After some weird test they said my water broke. My first reaction was like "Holy S***, This is way to early for my water to break" Because I still had 15 days to go (37 weeks and 2 days). It was all so sureal, this little life inside me was finally coming and I was extremely nervous but yet very excited. I was kinda worried mostly about her, hoping and praying everything was okay. After 2 hours I decided to start walking around my neighbourhood to kick start my labour. 3 hours later, nothing. I had some contractions that were 5 mins apart. We were going to go back to the hospital. Instead my boyfriend and I decided well let's get some rest and try again in the morning. I woke up around 7am because that is when I was going to be induced and I felt no contractions what so ever. I was really pissed off because I did want to start my labour naturally. Well that didn't happen. We went to the hospital and I got the ole needle which 4 hours later gave me my contractions. They went from 10 mins apart, 5 mins apart, 3, 2, 1 min apart. I was trying my best to not use any drugs for the pain... but after 1 and a half hours of having 1 min apart contractions that were growing more and more intense every 15mins (when they upped the dose of the drug which were giving me my contractions) I started giving up. They gave me an epidural for the pain so that I could rest for a while. I did rest... I was out like a light. I had 2 shots of morphine and the gas PLUS an epidural. I kept waking in and out saying random things to Ferl, like... "Where's your bike?" "Where am I?" random things. I finially woke up to a feeling like I had to shit... The nurse came in and checked me. I was 3 centimeters dilated. I seriously was trying my best to get her to let me go to the bathroom (I was hooked up to all this shit, so many cords on me) She kept telling me no and just go if I had to go. I didn't want to poop in the bed. I felt like I really had to go and she said that it was my cervix dilating and if I had to go to go! I was so angry. I finially gave in and secertly started pushing. Finally I was getting so fustrated I asked her again "Seriously I have to S*** let me go to the bathroom" she checked again and I was at 6 centimeters. I again kept pushing... finally I was at 8. After that I told the nurse "If I shit on this bed you're gunna be the one cleaning it up!" She laughed and said that was her job. She was a really nice nurse. A few minutes later I was pushing. It honestly didnt hurt, just when her head came out. It didnt hurt my coot, it hurt my asshole!

I saw her little head pop out and I was so happy. I started crying and saying I would do it again (give birth that is) the nurse started laughing and told me I still had her shoulders to go. I got my game face back on and continued to push like a mother. They took her over to the station to clean her up, I didnt hear her cry but I was extremely excited to hold her so I just cried and waited. I told my boyfriend to take pictures of her and he told me to just wait because they were doing something. I saw one of the nurses press a button and then 5 other nurses came in. They were all surrounding my baby. I thought they were just cleaning her up but when I looked at my boyfriend and saw him trembling and crying, and then I looked to my mom who was in 'aw' and saying "oh my god" I started to panic... I started crying to hard, I watched them work on my daughter. I swear I've never prayed so hard in my life. They gave her a needle which reversed the drugs that I had taken during my labour which was in her system. So fair warned... try to keep the drugs to a minimum. My daughter had stopped breathing for two mins, but felt like a lifetime for me.

Once we got home I was so happy to be with her!! Here's a picture and what not. It's early and I should go back to sleep. Love you all.

I am trying to release two new outfits hopefully sometimes this week. Then I want to hold a sale! So bare with my, my babygirl is just being buggy and needs her momma all the time!!

I thought I would let you all know that this friday I will be moving into my own place! The internet and t.v is gunna be hooked up. I'm actually really nervous but excited to have my own place. One... I have MY OWN Privacy. Two... I have T.V and last but not least... it can get as messy as I want it to be because it's my place! :P

The baby is almost here guys! 37 more days... :D I'm really excited to be a mommy but I'm also starting to panic because there is just so much to do. The list is large and I swear... with all the leg cramps, waking up in the middle of the night, indigestion and all the other negatives to being pregnant It's hard to get it all complete in 37 days. Thank god I have the most wonderful sister a sister could have. She's has been such a big help!

Some news of my Real Life.

As many of you have noticed I haven't been online much and I haven't released anything new. My baby in my belly is getting so big! I'm at 8 months and now the big time preperation begins. Ferl (baby daddy) and I have been searching for a decent family size apartment, buying my daughter the bare nessicites, and I'm trying to finish school. 3 more credits left to get and 8 weeks left of school and my pregnancy! I'm starting to get really nervous now because of the whole labour and delivery. To be honest everyone who tells me, "Oh it's not that bad" I look and them and just squint my eyes... "Your vagina! IS BEING STRETCHED TO THE SIZE OF A GRAPE FRUIT!!" How could it only be "Not that bad" God! We've been watching birthing movies in my parenting class and lordy! Do I ever panic! I just cant handle it. I pray to god every night that I don't have to get a c-section. Everything else, tearing and what not I'm down for... I think the natural birth (with drugs) is better. Because once my daughter is out she's placed on my chest right away. With a C-section you have to wait for them to clean her up and do her tests!

I have been working on some new clothes, but I'm in lac la croix right now with ferl so... I'm kind of useless right now.

I should get cleaning or something! That's my update! I'll be back in town on tuesday!

Well as most of you know I am pregnant and almost going to pop this little baby out! It's april and there is only two months left. You see, my day consists of getting up, doing errands and then going to class then being exhausted because this is the last trimester and again my baby is stealing all my energy. It's hard for me to find time just to log on and answer my messages. Which is sad but also good. I'm starting to be unaddicted to my secondlife. I feel really bad because my store is just sitting there and it's not being updated but I can't think of anything to make. Not only that I try to make things and then I have to leave because of an appointment or I need to finish my assignments. I love summer time too because I love summer clothes. It's my favorite season. I just wanted to let everyone know I am alive and kicking and new stuff will be out... just gunna take me a while. Prenatal classes, birthing classes, school and being pregnant is taking up a lot of my time! Hahaha

A big update and now no time to work on my clothing.

It seems that RL again has come onto my plate full blown. I mean Easter couldn't be anymore stressful. This weekend, long weekend I should say. I have to get ready for my three big assignments that are due on tuesday, an easter supper which I am making the dessert for, and just holiday fun with my boyfriend. It's so hard trying to keep a relationship and make clothes on secondlife. Hahaha I'm sure many of you are like "Right, mmhmmm" but it is. You're always on the computer, working on clothes or the store so that leaves you little time to occupy him. I failed to mention before I got on hand of this topic that my boyfriend works out of town, but this past two weeks he's been here. If he was out of town at work and just came in I would be more stressed because I would really have to accompany him! Which would pile on my work load for this weekend. I need to clean the house, wash clothes, do my big ass assignments, bathe the dog, start those upcakes, rice krispies and cookies for the dinner, and then.... find some time to spend with my boo. Not to mention deal with the lack of stamina from my pregnancy. ITS A CHAOS THAT'S WHAT IT IS! I'll be organized and ready to kick this weekend in it's ass.

What else could I announce that is going to be interfering me from logging on. Well that's about it. I hate not updating my store or releasing new stuff every week. It makes me feel lazy or like a slow poke! I use to be a machine. Also I can't find anything AWESOME to make. I've been trying, looking on sites for ideas of clothing to make or just what I have in RL. Nothing pops out and says YES THAT IS PERFECT! Nothing.... I'll get another little spurt in 3 more weeks. haha.

Real Life is the Shits...

I'm not to happy right now. I mean... I guess it is an off day for me, because I just feel really annoyed and bummed out. I don't know what's wrong with me today. Perhaps I am just sick of guys... They're so possessive and controlling. Well some of them.

Last night some of my girlfriends and I decided to go out last night. Have a good time and party it up (Minus me!) They asked me if I would like to tag along. I agreed only because I've been couped up in the house for 2 months, only leaving for little errands or to get some food. I went out with the girls. Didn't take any pictures though. It was really... unpleasent. There was people bumping into me, loud rude drunks, and I just didnt have any fun. I tried to for the sake of my bestfriend (cause it was her and I there) but it was sooo dull! I mean the bar isn't much fun unless you're drunk or... there are more than one person that is completly sober. I couldn't help but get mad and start yelling at all the random drunks because they were so rude! They would push you and not say sorry! I hate, DISPISE that!

Anyways enough of the bar talk. I knew better to go there. I knew it would be a waste of time and not interesting to me at all. The cool thing about yesterday was I went to a pow wow. My boyfriend is native. I've been to plently because my bestfriend is his cousin, but this one for some reason made me really happy. I honestly loved watching them dance. It was awesome. They had traditional and grass dance competions that day. I was amazed at the grass dancers... because they fucking spun around and like ducked and jumped REALLY fast... like tazmanian devil basical. It was awesome. They're outfits... (I dont want to call them costums cause appearently you shouldn't call them that or something) were beautiful... It was fun.

Then after the powwow, I went to see my boyfriend who is sick. I mean SICK! I don't know what's going around right now. But I'm telling you folks - WASH YOUR FUCKING HANDS!! Do it. My sister and her kids had the flu. I felt sooo bad for them. My sister was basically on bedrest because she's pregnant and can't take any medication for pain or flu. Her kids, aw just made me want to cry cause they were in so much pain. They were in their beds with red little eyes, fever, and running noses! I wanted to cuddle them and kiss them but I can't get sick!
What bothered me the most was that my sister took her kids to the hospital, (Canadian Hospital) She waited 3 hours with her two sick kids and her infected ass and finially when the doctor came he told her to take them home and give them hot baths but no flu medicince, oh and childrens tylenon. My sister was really sick herself so he told her... that she just had the flu and to go home and drink liquids. My sister was litterally dying... she looked so scary. She had this horrible cough and body aches. I told her go to the walk in clinic because I didn't believe the doctor. She did, and turns out she had bronchitios! WHY DIDNT THE DOCTOR AT OUR 7 MILLION DOLLAR HOSPITAL FIND OUT THAT SHE HAD BRONCHITIOUS. What was really scary is that the doctor at the clinic said that she was lucky he caught it now because it was getting really bad. Just pisses me off... these doctors say they want to save lives and help the sick and poor. But really they just walk around a hospital with their scrubs and act doctorly and just tell a sick person who clearly needs to be treated to go home! It's the government I tell you. DONT LISTEN TO ME! I know nothing.

Well... I finially got P.S on my mac again. Happy about that... took me forever to find a crack. So now I can make clothes anywhere... hopefully I get use to using my mac's mouse cause it's so light and quick movements... it's just gunna be tricky! OH And remembering the shortcuts haha!

So I have been working like a crazy lady! Making new stuff and what not! I also decided to get an early start on making some bathing suits before everyone else released bikinis! I have three different styles.

The billabong bash! comes with a prim tie to add a little spice to the dull SL mesh. Two sweatbands, one wrist and one for the head! It's tres cute with it's jamacian coloured theme and very sexy. It only comes in the one coloured theme... unforunatly... but it is very cute! Of course I made under layers and shirt/pants layers! 130L

Then I made another set of bikinis I made are called Puma Uma Eh! They are very cute! The bottoms have a little panda bear face. The front of the bikini has just regular stripes and the top is a halter with thin straps! They are 100% handdrawn by me! but I was inspired by UO!

HORRAH HORRAH! KENZIE&CO HAS FINIALLY RELEASED SOMETHING FOR SPRING/SUMMER!

Yes it is my favourite time of the year! Spring/Summer... In Canadian the weather is perfect at this time. There is still snow on the ground... but it’s melting. The sun is shining so bright every day that it blinds you. You know when you walk past someone in SL with bling... and you catch glares of it... your eyes are like GOD DAMN! Is that necessary! Well my homies... I have been so busy this past month and a half. First I started by redoing the build of my store.

It looks beautiful now, I am really happy with it. After that I moved on to working on the displays of the stores that were overdue for a make-over. Now that I finished that I said to myself “We need some pastel colours, spring dresses, shorts, capris... BIKINIS WE NEED BIKINIS!” And I got to work... Working day and night on this stuff... minus my usually lazy 90834 hours and some time to work on school work. BUT! I have finished and they are forking FANTASTIC!

So the store is done... I've finished redoing the displays and vendors! everything is all set up and ready to go. I've been really hating the way how my stuff looks! Well just the way I advertise them. To me they feel half-assed and lame. SO NOW THEY LOOK PRETTY AND PROFRESH!!!

The next chapter in my WORK is to finish off the new stuff I've been working on so I can release a HUGE UPDATE. The release will consist of bikinis, one pieces, new shirts and jeans shorts... hopefully some outfits and of course... summer dresses. That is what I hope to release in the near future.

So that's a little update on what I have been doing... So bare with me guys, almost done!
